Aphids can be incredibly destructive pests in the garden, but with this DIY organic spray, you can deter them from attacking your plants.
All you’ll need to make this spray is:
- 2 tablespoons of chilli flakes
- 2 tablespoons of cayenne pepper
- 2 tablespoons of crushed garlic
- 1 litre of water
To make the spray, place all the ingredients in a large jar and seal with a lid.
Leave the jar in the sun for three days, then pour the mixture into a spray bottle and spray over vulnerable or aphid-affected plants.
TIP: Pour the mixture through a strainer to prevent solids from clogging the spray nozzle.
